Good machine. Its dosing system and controls excellent. But not easy to use. Ambiguity in instructions in how to use the water filter. What setting should I set for water hardness?

Excellent machine at a good price. It makes great coffee once you’ve set it to your taste and is very easy to use once set up. One press of a button and it whirrs into action, grinding your beans and then pouring your coffee. Does use a fair bit of water due to its self cleaning routines but the water tank is large and easy to fill. Various lights on the display advise you about such things as when the beans need refilling, the grounds container needs emptying and the water tank needs refilling. It’s a very clever and well designed machine for the serious coffee drinker.

Arrived in good condition, well- packaged. I have enjoyed many coffees and it’s working fine. The coffee was a gift from the company and I enjoyed it so much that I ordered 2kg of the same brand. The pitcher is well made, stainless steel and half filled with milk is needed for the froth in the cappuccino. Thanks

I’m not sure. This is my second machine since my previous coffee machine broke. For a long time I kept using the Zelmer, which has ridiculous reviews. In fact, its quality was not the best, on average it lasted two or three years at the most (I had three or four such machines in row). Now this express is unavailable so I had to look for something new. I didn't think it would be that hard. I tried the Krups Opio for a while, a total failure. De Longhi much better than Krups but still not what Zelmer did. I don't know what it is. Neither of these two, i.e. Opio nor Dedica, can handle ground coffee. I had to dust off my old KG79, vary basic burr grinder. At the factory settings, the finest coffee, Opio still hopeless, Dedica at least drinkable coffee. A big improvement after dismantling the coffee grinder and switching to an even finer, than factory, grind. At least, Dedica is able to maintain parameters close to the recommended ones. I manage to put about 14-15 grams of coffee in a non-pressurized filter, brewing for 25-30 seconds I get 30 to 60 grams of yeld. Coffee brewed this way is not bad, but … still way from Zelmer, where I used a filter for a single espresso to get coffee I liked. In the morning, I didn't have to play an alchemist counting seconds and measuring grams. I just heated the coffeemaker, the cup, loaded the coffee and after a while I had the brew, maybe far from finesse but at least devoid of excessive bitterness or sourness.

Great little machine. Makes a consistent shot of espresso. Good price. I am only giving four stars because it was shipped from Poland and not the U.K.
