I chose this machine because someone I know has one. It works well, once you are used to it's ways. I give it 4 stars, and not 5, because of one or two drawbacks. The instructions are long, convoluted and, in at least one place, incorrect (or, at least, misleading.) The on-line instructions were better than the book that came with it. The water container is small for such a big machine. About 5 mugs of coffee per fill. It would last all day if you only have espresso though. After 3 weeks, the de-scale light came on ( I live in an area with very soft water) so I think de'Longhi are trying to sell their cleaning fluid. The grinder is a little noisy but that's probably true of a lot of machines. Neil

Great machine producing great coffee once you have found the beans that suit your taste. Easy to use and unlike many machines that I have used in the past, does what it says on the box. Not the cheapest on the market but the old adage applies “you get what you pay for”

Very good coffee machine. Easy to operate and clean. I was looking for reliable product and because it is designed to be used in small offices it should sustain quite a while. Dispatched same day and reached me on time advised by courier. Thank You Coffe Friend

I had an electric Bialetti previously but I was told by someone not to clean it too thoroughly inside so it would maintain the coffee smell. For me, after some years the coffee tasted too bitter. This one is fine and I will maintain it differently now.

Poor quality. I asked to return it, I was told that only if it is defective. Very dissatisfied.
