Early days but so far very happy. A good solid grinder that looks the part. Not to loud and really quick. Ive read comments about coffee grinds flying around due to static when you pull out the grinding draw but i find a couple of taps on a table top knocks all the particules to the bottom and its really not an issue. Recommended

Giving 4 stars as an overall experience. Coffee machine – very good, but not the quietist. Make sure to buy the water filter at the time of purchase i wrongly assumed at least one would be included. The coffee taste is good but i do need it on the 3 bean aroma setting to get to near a jet black coffee which i prefer. The unit is solid and performs really well i can certainly see that it will last. Only a few weeks in but happy so far. Service from coffee friend – hmmmmm they are simply a portal which means that despite items being listed as “in stock” they are not in stock in the traditional sense you would expect, as in, in stock in someone’s warehouse not in the UK. So manage your expectations on delivery. Emails from them are a bit non plus and laid back rather than proactive and concerned, that said, it did arrive and the coffee unit has been good all’s well which ends well. BTW – It’s no good apologising to customers waiting too long for delivery with a £10 voucher AFTER they've paid for the machine, better to have refunded that value as i personally would have been happier.

Hermes isn't too great for delivery, got a message it wouldn't be delivered due to a problem and then they delivered it anyway, without notification. But apart from that a great grinder. Am able to make both turkish coffee(extremely fine at setting 1) and french press coffee at 28 out of the 31 settings. Also I'm able to grind directly into a portafilter as into the provided container which means I'm able to switch easily. One issue is that I can't set the grinder to much finer without running it for 0.01 second. But this is only a minor annoyance. All in all really happy and much better coffee!

Read a few reviews about the quality of this product (not favourable), but so far – fantastic buy and makes great coffee. I paired it with Krups burr grinder and De Longhi tamper

Everything arrived promptly on time and we are very pleased with the coffee! The instructions are in east European languages which explains the excellent price but as it is very easy to download an English version, this is no issue at all

Superb machine , very easy to use and set up with YouTube . Took 4 weeks to come and no Europe to UK plug adapter in packaging the said plug arrived 5 days later . If ordering expect delays but don't be put off your goods will arrive , eventually.
