Behind the absolute majority of coffee machine malfunctions is the underlying cause of limescale deposits. A water filter prevents limescale from developing and accumulating within the system, hence extending the service life of your coffee machine in the process.

Coffee tastes even better when it’s brewed in a clean, well-maintained coffee machine. Not every cloth is suited for coffee machines though, and some of them may end up scratching the surface of your appliance. That’s why we’ve created a special microfibre cloth for coffee machines.

INSTRUCTION FOR AUTOMATIC COFFEE MACHINES:
If your coffee machine has an automatic cleaning program:
1. Put the tablet into the right place and follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
If your coffee machine does not have an automatic cleaning program, but has ground coffee slot:
1. Put the tablet into the ground coffee slot and place a cup under the coffee spout.
2. Press the button, which prepares coffee from pre-ground beans.
3. When half of the cup is filled with water, turn the machine off and give some time for the cleaning tablet to do its magic.
4. Turn the machine on and finish coffee making process.
5. Repeat this process at least three times, but without the extra cleaning tablet. It’s crucial to clean the system from chemicals properly.
6. Take out the coffee making mechanism and carefully rinse it with clean water.
7. Before using the machine, make two cups of coffee. Choose the preparation method from pre-ground beans, but don’t use the actual pre-ground coffee.
8. When you want to clean the drip tray, put the tablet into the tray, fill two thirds of it with hot water, wait 30 minutes and carefully clean it.
If your machine does not make coffee from pre-ground beans:
1. Put cleaning tablet in the cup and fill it with hot water.
2. Take off coffee filter holder and with the mixture carefully wash the holder and its spouts as well as coffee filters.
3. Give some time or the mixture to do its magic –leave it on for at least 5 minutes. Later repeat the procedure at least 3 times.
4. Carefully rinse all washed mechanisms with clean water and put them all back into place.
5. When you want to clean the drip tray, put the tablet into the tray, fill two thirds of it with hot water, wait 30 minutes and carefully clean it.
The universal milk system cleaner “For Better Coffee”. Made of natural ingredients of the highest quality, this cleaner ensures ideal hygiene inside the milk system: it gets rid of any accumulated bacteria, milk fats and milk residue.

How to use it?
1) Mix 10 ml of the cleaner with 100 ml of water.
Depending on the model of your coffee machine and the milk system type:
1) If your coffee machine is equipped with an integrated milk system cleaning program, simply follow the required procedure. If there’s no integrated milk system cleaning program in your appliance, see the following instructions.
2) Coffee machine with a steam wand: make sure to regularly remove the steam wand, disassemble it and let it soak in the mixture for a while/wash it using the mixture.
3) Coffee machine with a milk tube: pour the mixture into an empty container, immerse the tube in it and activate the hot steam/milk function. Repeat the procedure using clean water.
4) Coffee machine with a milk container: pour the mixture into the milk container and activate the hot steam/milk function. Repeat the procedure using clean water.
Ingredients: contains carbonates, potassium hydroxide.
Storage conditions: store in a place inaccessible to children.

How to use it?
1) Follow the instructions related to the descaling program of your coffee machine;
2) Dilute the descaler using the following ratio: 100 ml of the descaler:1 l of water (if the user manual of your coffee machine indicates that 500 ml of water should be used for the descaling procedure, cut the quantity of the descaler in half too and use 50 ml);
3) Once the descaling program is finished, rinse the water tank of your coffee machine with clean water.
Tip: pour water into the water tank of your coffee machine first, then add the descaler (unless it’s specified otherwise in the manual of your coffee machine).
Ingredients: contains lactic acid.

Frequently Asked Questions
– Make sure the milk you’re using contains enough fat (3.2–3.5%).
– Use cool milk only (straight from the fridge).
– Make sure that the milk system is clean and not blocked.
Inside the bean container, there’s a special grind adjustment knob. Start grinding, then turn the knob to one side or the other (depending on whether you’re going for a finer or a coarser grind). Make sure to only go one adjustment step at a time, and remember you’ll need to brew a few servings to notice the difference.
The maintenance of this coffee machine is nearly fully automated. To perform the built-in maintenance programs, you’ll need the following products:
1. A water filter. You’ll have to replace it every few months.
2. A special descaler (the frequency with which you have to perform the descaling program depends on how hard your water is).
3. A milk system cleaner.
