Only reason for not giving five stars was that the website is not clear that the goods are shipped from EU (Poland in my case) and rather than being wired with UK plugs, the coffee machine came with a molded EU plug and separate adaptor, the grinder with just a standard, molded EU 2 pin plug. A little bit sneaky to be coffeefriend.co.uk and not be a UK company, but that's the global world we live in. Suggest you make it clear items are not wired for UK, or better still, supply items with proper molded plugs for the country of purchase.

This was an impulse buy & I didn’t do enough research first! The delivery time was slow (& I too thought it was a UK supplier), the packaging was poor (just plastic as other reviewers advised) – and there was an oil stain on top, although fortunately the contents were not damaged. I also didn’t realise about the plug, making the unit stick out farther than anticipated. The coffee maker itself is great – but with hindsight I would have bought elsewhere.

The machine we bought was entirely plastic and looked rather cheap. The tray holding the cup didn’t fit and was at an angle so the cups slid off. Also it should have folded up to allow larger cups or mugs to be placed there. It didn’t do that either. The returns T&Cs are very strict so beware if you do buy anything. We are going through the return process at the moment and it isn’t easy. There are better machines out there for less money so be careful when buying.

Very fast service brought as gift so not used to comment about it but packaging was all fine . Will buy again from here
