Coffee tastes even better when it’s brewed in a clean, well-maintained coffee machine. Not every cloth is suited for coffee machines though, and some of them may end up scratching the surface of your appliance. That’s why we’ve created a special microfibre cloth for coffee machines.

In order to fully take advantage of your coffee machine, you should clean it regularly.

INSTRUCTION FOR AUTOMATIC COFFEE MACHINES:
If your coffee machine has an automatic cleaning program:
1. Put the tablet into the right place and follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
If your coffee machine does not have an automatic cleaning program, but has ground coffee slot:
1. Put the tablet into the ground coffee slot and place a cup under the coffee spout.
2. Press the button, which prepares coffee from pre-ground beans.
3. When half of the cup is filled with water, turn the machine off and give some time for the cleaning tablet to do its magic.
4. Turn the machine on and finish coffee making process.
5. Repeat this process at least three times, but without the extra cleaning tablet. It’s crucial to clean the system from chemicals properly.
6. Take out the coffee making mechanism and carefully rinse it with clean water.
7. Before using the machine, make two cups of coffee. Choose the preparation method from pre-ground beans, but don’t use the actual pre-ground coffee.
8. When you want to clean the drip tray, put the tablet into the tray, fill two thirds of it with hot water, wait 30 minutes and carefully clean it.
If your machine does not make coffee from pre-ground beans:
1. Put cleaning tablet in the cup and fill it with hot water.
2. Take off coffee filter holder and with the mixture carefully wash the holder and its spouts as well as coffee filters.
3. Give some time or the mixture to do its magic –leave it on for at least 5 minutes. Later repeat the procedure at least 3 times.
4. Carefully rinse all washed mechanisms with clean water and put them all back into place.
5. When you want to clean the drip tray, put the tablet into the tray, fill two thirds of it with hot water, wait 30 minutes and carefully clean it.

How to use it?
1) Mix 10 ml of the cleaner with 100 ml of water.
Depending on the model of your coffee machine and the milk system type:
1) If your coffee machine is equipped with an integrated milk system cleaning program, simply follow the required procedure. If there’s no integrated milk system cleaning program in your appliance, see the following instructions.
2) Coffee machine with a steam wand: make sure to regularly remove the steam wand, disassemble it and let it soak in the mixture for a while/wash it using the mixture.
3) Coffee machine with a milk tube: pour the mixture into an empty container, immerse the tube in it and activate the hot steam/milk function. Repeat the procedure using clean water.
4) Coffee machine with a milk container: pour the mixture into the milk container and activate the hot steam/milk function. Repeat the procedure using clean water.
Ingredients: contains carbonates, potassium hydroxide.
Storage conditions: store in a place inaccessible to children.

How to use it?
1) Follow the instructions related to the descaling program of your coffee machine;
2) Dilute the descaler using the following ratio: 100 ml of the descaler:1 l of water (if the user manual of your coffee machine indicates that 500 ml of water should be used for the descaling procedure, cut the quantity of the descaler in half too and use 50 ml);
3) Once the descaling program is finished, rinse the water tank of your coffee machine with clean water.
Tip: pour water into the water tank of your coffee machine first, then add the descaler (unless it’s specified otherwise in the manual of your coffee machine).

The bean-to-cup coffee machine Melitta “CI Touch® Plus” is extremely functional and capable of preparing as many as 10 different coffee drinks. You can enjoy two milk-based beverages at once. Two separate bean containers make it possible to use two types of coffee beans. 4 user profiles allow you to create 4 individual menus. A convenient control screen and automated maintenance programs make using this coffee machine a real pleasure. The preparation of milk-based beverages is now even easier thanks to the new Melitta milk lance, which can be immersed straight in a milk carton and left there for future use. Once you take the milk out of the fridge, all that’s left for you to do is connecting the tube to the lance. There’s no need to worry about maintaining the milk container anymore!

In addition to brewing two servings of black coffee at once, this coffee machine is able to prepare two portions of your chosen milk-based beverage simultaneously.
TWO BEAN CONTAINERS FOR DIFFERENT TYPES OF BEANS
The coffee bean container is divided into two sections, so two different types of beans can be used. Using the switch next to the bean hopper, select which section you’re going to use the beans from.
AUTHENTIC COFFEE PREPARATION PROCESS
Coffee drinks are prepared according to authentic recipes, adding ingredients in a certain order. For example, when preparing latte macchiato, espresso is added after milk and milk foam, while in the case of cappuccino, this order is reversed.

Yes! The Melitta CI Touch Plus F630-103 coffee machine has two separate bean containers, enabling the storage of two different types of coffee beans, providing you with the flexibility to select between them for your beverages. You can effortlessly manage your bean selection through the menu, allowing you to choose whether to use the beans from the left or right bean tank.
If the appliance is not operated for a long time, it switches off automatically after a specified time. Set the duration until the appliance switches off in the Auto OFF menu. A specific point in time can also be defined.
The grinding fineness of the coffee beans influences the flavour of the coffee; therefore, it may be necessary to adjust the grind level if different kind of coffee beans are used. The grinding fineness can be adjusted to your liking using the grind adjustment lever.
The set water hardness influences the frequency of descaling. The harder the water, the more frequently the appliance has to be descaled. The water hardness level can be set in the menu. Important! The water hardness cannot be set if you use a water filter.
