Coffee tastes even better when it's brewed in a clean, well-maintained coffee machine. Not every cloth is suited for coffee machines though, and some of them may end up scratching the surface of your appliance. That's why we've created a special microfibre cloth for coffee machines.

INSTRUCTION FOR AUTOMATIC COFFEE MACHINES:
If your coffee machine has an automatic cleaning program:
1. Put the tablet into the right place and follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
If your coffee machine does not have an automatic cleaning program, but has ground coffee slot:
1. Put the tablet into the ground coffee slot and place a cup under the coffee spout.
2. Press the button, which prepares coffee from pre-ground beans.
3. When half of the cup is filled with water, turn the machine off and give some time for the cleaning tablet to do its magic.
4. Turn the machine on and finish coffee making process.
5. Repeat this process at least three times, but without the extra cleaning tablet. It’s crucial to clean the system from chemicals properly.
6. Take out the coffee making mechanism and carefully rinse it with clean water.
7. Before using the machine, make two cups of coffee. Choose the preparation method from pre-ground beans, but don’t use the actual pre-ground coffee.
8. When you want to clean the drip tray, put the tablet into the tray, fill two thirds of it with hot water, wait 30 minutes and carefully clean it.
If your machine does not make coffee from pre-ground beans:
1. Put cleaning tablet in the cup and fill it with hot water.
2. Take off coffee filter holder and with the mixture carefully wash the holder and its spouts as well as coffee filters.
3. Give some time or the mixture to do its magic –leave it on for at least 5 minutes. Later repeat the procedure at least 3 times.
4. Carefully rinse all washed mechanisms with clean water and put them all back into place.
5. When you want to clean the drip tray, put the tablet into the tray, fill two thirds of it with hot water, wait 30 minutes and carefully clean it.

How to use it?
1) Mix 10 ml of the cleaner with 100 ml of water.
Depending on the model of your coffee machine and the milk system type:
1) If your coffee machine is equipped with an integrated milk system cleaning program, simply follow the required procedure. If there's no integrated milk system cleaning program in your appliance, see the following instructions.
2) Coffee machine with a steam wand: make sure to regularly remove the steam wand, disassemble it and let it soak in the mixture for a while/wash it using the mixture.
3) Coffee machine with a milk tube: pour the mixture into an empty container, immerse the tube in it and activate the hot steam/milk function. Repeat the procedure using clean water.
4) Coffee machine with a milk container: pour the mixture into the milk container and activate the hot steam/milk function. Repeat the procedure using clean water.
Ingredients: contains carbonates, potassium hydroxide.
Storage conditions: store in a place inaccessible to children.
Additional information:
May cause severe skin burns and eye damage. Keep out of the reach of children. Do not inhale steam. Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/use eye (face) protection equipment. IF THE PRODUCT HAS BEEN INGESTED: rinse the mouth. DO NOT induce vomiting. IF THE PRODUCT HAS COME INTO CONTACT WITH SKIN (or hair): immediately take off/discard all contaminated clothing. Pour out the contents/throw out the container in accordance with current legislation.

How to use it?
1) Follow the instructions related to the descaling program of your coffee machine;
2) Dilute the descaler using the following ratio: 100 ml of the descaler:1 l of water (if the user manual of your coffee machine indicates that 500 ml of water should be used for the descaling procedure, cut the quantity of the descaler in half too and use 50 ml);
3) Once the descaling program is finished, rinse the water tank of your coffee machine with clean water.
Tip: pour water into the water tank of your coffee machine first, then add the descaler (unless it's specified otherwise in the manual of your coffee machine).

The newest De’Longhi Bean Adapt technology takes care of that: all you have to do is connect the coffee machine to a smart device and set the roasting level of the beans via the De’Longhi Coffee Link app. The coffee machine automatically sets the grindind level, the amount of coffee to be ground and the brewing temperature. You can find the grinding adjustment knob in the bean container.
For the coarser grinding level: while the grinder is in motion, dial it by one notch towards number 7 (only one step at a time).
For the finer grinding level: while the grinder is in motion, dial it by one notch towards number 1 (only one step at a time).
It is very important to regulate the grinder only when the grinder is grinding, otherwise you can damage it. The result of your adjustment can be felt only after a few drinks.
This happens when the grounds container was emptied out when coffee machine was switched off. The system doesn’t recognise that the grounds were thrown away. Now, when the appliance is switched on, remove the drip tray together with the grounds container and reinsert it.
This means that the brewing unit has not returned to its original position. Turn off the coffee machine completely (using the button on the back), switch the coffee machine on again and let it run for a full rinsing cycle, and switch it off again. The brewing unit had to return to its place. Now try to remove it.
1. Make sure that milk you are using is fresh and at refrigerator temperature (when the milk is finished and you are pouring new one, please clean the milk container throughly before adding new milk).
2. Clean the milk system. Perform milk system cleaning program using milk system cleaning liquid (see user manual). Disassemble the milk system and clean it manually. If needed, soak all parts in the solution with milk system cleaning liquid.
