Really happy with my purchase of the Magnifica S. I had the previous incarnation of the Magnifica, which was great, but this model has been tweaked with easier to use improvements. The coffee tastes great. Fast delivery of my machine with regular updates. And at about £130 cheaper than other retailers, what’s not to like..👍🏻 Just hope the machine can handle all the use it will get like the other one did..

This is a review of my new Gaggia Viva Deluxe. The company got 5 stars – see their website! Usually have a 300ml mug of cappuccino after lunch every day so had to remove drip tray to fit under coffee holder! Next I was in habit of frothing milk in mug first then putting a second mug under empty coffee holder and running water to warm holder and reduce temperature for coffee but machine didn't like this as it was still too hot from frothing – so I've had to reverse my approach! Apart from this it's fine.

I almost bought a Sylvia, but decided on the Lelit Anna instead. It has a built in PID to control temperature and it warms up full operating temperature within 10 minutes, against 30 minutes for the Sylvia. It is beautifully made

Coffee machine Gaggia Viva Deluxe
I have had a Gaggia Color manual espresso machine for a number of years so was familiar with using a similar one. I usually have a 300ml mug of cappuccino after lunch every day. So the first thing I found was that I had to remove the drip tray to fit my mug in! Being lazy I have been in the habit of putting a half cup of milk and frothing it first, then I switch to coffee setting and use a second cup and running the machine to cool it down/warm the head before putting ground coffee in! This doesn't work for the Viva so I have had to change my technique!

Didn't notice any information the machine comes from other country than the UK nor that there is a special adaptor instead of a UK plug. That's the only issue and everything but that one was spotless: price, delivery and comunicaton (regarding the plug).

Excellent machine, trademark Delonghi quality. Milk frothed is fine – doesn’t have two settings and really you get a mid froth so creates a flat white rather than a cappuccino/ latte: this is my preferred drink so perfect but just to highlight this as I wasn’t aware
