Do not order from this company. I placed an order on 2 December for a coffee machine, intended as a Christmas present. As of 8 January, nothing has been delivered. There was no proactive communication about delays. No apology. No clear explanation. No refund. I had to chase them myself, only to be told weeks ago that the parcel had left the EU and was “awaiting scanning”. Since then, silence. This is not a logistics issue. This is a customer service failure. They took the money. They missed Christmas. They failed to communicate. They did nothing to resolve it. If you value your time, your money, or basic professionalism, do not order from this company. If something goes wrong, you will be left chasing and escalating, with no ownership taken on their side. Plenty of better retailers out there. Avoid this one

prompt answers to my questions and next day delivery (from EU) my Delonghi arrived today. (best price visible in the UK) The european plug fits very snuggly inside the supplied fused 13A adaptor, took 3 mins to fit. The ultimate test of a company is how they deal with any problems (if any).

I received a lovely La Pavoni machine for my 50th birthday and it had been working fine for 2 months until it stopped pouring. After contacting the technical support team at Coffee Friend, and after exchanging emails and providing videos of my 'fault', it turns out that it was user error! Anyway, I've now learned that different type of coffee beans affect grind/pour, so grind adjustments are needed from time to time. But the service was super-quick, friendly and efficient. Really, really good and my experience is you don't get that kind of support a lot from vendors these days!
