Machine is great, not sure why people put negative reviews. Yes it is manual so you need to put coffee in the pod and close the handle, not for the frail but I think that’s understood seeing how coffee is done in coffee shops – it’s doable :). A few useful observations: 1. It is an Italian machine – you need an adaptor for UK so spare £5, the one that comes in package is useless (not possible to assemble) and the seller needs to address it, I trust they got enough complaints 2. I bought Illy ECE paper pods not to hassle in the morning to realise you can’t use pressurised baskets for the paper pods – so another £7-10 if you want to get a specific ECE pods basket. 3. I moved from Nespresso pods machine and coffee is much stronger and shorter, I like it but keep it in mind. All in all absolutely great! I got it as I wanted to move away from hot water contacting plastic in other machines and it delivers. Hope it helps.

If I could give 0 stars I would the coffee holders x 3 are so hard to put in I can’t do it as it really hurts my hand I reported this the day it arrived and asked for a refund (machine has never been used ) it also came with a 2 pin plug on it with a separate flimsy adapter which in my opinion doesn’t feel right and had it been in the description I would not have used it … I called the company on the following day after receiving the goods for a refund and was told to go on line .. I submitted the form and received another email asking for more photos so I sent a video now received another email advising me to put parts in hot water to try and get them in … goods should be fit for purpose without having to go through all of this … we’ve already tried and tried to get these holders to fit so I’d really like a collection and full refund
