What adjustments should I make to the settings of my bean-to-cup coffee machine when brewing this coffee?

Each of us has our own personal taste, so just do whatever seems best to you! We suggest starting from standard settings, that is, choosing the medium option wherever possible. Afterwards, simply adjust the flavour to your liking: if you’d prefer your brew stronger and more intense, increase the amount of ground coffee and/or select a finer grind; but if you’d like your coffee to be a bit subtler, decrease the amount of ground coffee and/or select a coarser grind.

Is there a hint of acidity in this coffee?

Notes of dark chocolate, caramel and toffee dominate in this coffee, so you’ll feel no fruity or berryish acidity in it.

    A bold oaky smooth dark taste. A perfect morning kick, although many colleagues preferred a lighter bean in the afternoon. Of 15 people we scored this an average of 4.3/5.

    I enjoyed these beans, but I’m not sure if I prefer to them to the usual beans I get out of my local Asda. When I’ve finished them I’ll try the Asda ones again before I decide.

    I ordered a 3 pack of 3 types of beans for my Miele coffee machine. I really wasn’t expecting much from a bean called Belgique. How wrong I was. This was by far my favourite bean. Really lovely flavour espressos. Even my father noticed and mentioned it – and he’s no coffee aficionado. It really does have a nice flavour. Just ordered 2 more packs.

    The Caprismmo and the Fragrante I found bland by comparison.
