Hario syphon is very easy to use. Simply pour a little bit of hot water in the lower part, then add around 15 grams of pre-ground coffee into the upper part and place the lighter under the lower part. Once the water starts boiling, you will notice it travelling up. Just try to make sure that your coffee is not lumpy. It should be fine in order to evenly connect with water and open up the best coffee qualities and flavours. In around three minutes take away the lighter.
