What’s this extraordinary aroma? It smells like a cup of black tea with a spoonful of honey, and a couple of gingerbread cookies served alongside it. Delicate and delightfully sweet…
Flying high over the gorgeous Waghi Valley in Papua New Guinea, one can see miles of coffee plantations stretching ahead. The coffee plants are shaded lovingly by numerous different trees, which help the cherries reach a consistent degree of ripeness, all while providing home for over ninety exotic bird species. Coffee cherries are picked exclusively by hand over here, and only once they have ripened fully, which endows the resulting brew with the perfect balance of sugariness and acidity. Processed using the washed method, the coffee is then allowed to dry naturally out in the warm Guinean sun.

What is “Parallel Specialty”?
“Parallel Specialty” is a deeper exploration of the Coffee Belt—the equatorial region where the world’s finest coffees grow. While the original Parallel line celebrated regional diversity through curated blends dedicated to different continents, the “Specialty” edition zooms in on single-origin coffees that capture the essence of one place, one terroir, one moment in time.
Each coffee is a reflection of its native habitat—be it the misty highlands of Ethiopia, sunlit valleys of Colombia, or remote farms in Sumatra. Selected for exceptional quality and unique flavour, these coffees offer an unparalleled taste experience.
The name “Parallel” still speaks of geography, but now also stands for precision, traceability, and purity. Let “Parallel Specialty” take you on a journey—one cup, one story, one unforgettable taste at a time.
The coffees from the "Parallel Specialty" line are roasted in a way that makes them suited for all brewing methods, including bean-to-cup coffee machines.
The "Parallel" line of coffees is dedicated to specialty coffee blends representing the flavour palettes of three different continents—Africa, Asia, and America.
The "Parallel Specialty" line boasts classic specialty coffees, and invites you to discover the world's best-known coffee-growing regions, as well as their unique flavour profiles.
We roast this coffee in one of Europe's best-rated roasteries.
The "Caprisette" line of coffees includes our bestselling coffee blends, all created for a delicious daily cuppa. They're particularly well-balanced, suited great for espressos, and perfect for combining with milk, syrups, and other ingredients.
The "Parallel Specialty" line boasts a range of specialty coffees marked by premium quality and particularly rich flavours. Because of how exceptional these coffees are, it's recommended to enjoy them on their own, with no milk or other ingredients added.
Specialty coffee beans are some of the world's finest. Who decides that? It's certified coffee tasters, who evaluate the quality (origin, green bean appearance, aromas, flavours, etc.) of these coffees, and score them based on a scale created by the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA). Only coffees that score over 80 points out of the possible 100 are awarded the specialty title.
