The alluring aromas of tamarind and oranges are joined by subtle notes of milk chocolate… This enveloping yet subtle sweetness cannot but leave a lasting impression.
Standing proudly in the foggy plantations of the Blue Mountains in Jamaica, local coffee plants produce cherries that turn into exquisite coffee beans valued highly all over the globe. Thanks to unique climate conditions, these cherries take longer to ripen, which endows them with gorgeously subtle flavours and aromas. At the very heart of the mountains, in the region of Clydesdale, the fourth generation of the Sharp family toils away. Over the years, the delicate taste of the coffee produced by the Sharps’ very own “Clydesdale Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee” company has turned into the stuff of legend. One sip is enough to understand why…

We've called it "Funky Beans" because of how exotic and truly unexpected the flavours of these specialty coffees are. The ever-changing, limited-edition range promises some wild adventures, and bursts with funky energy.
Coffees that have scored over 80 points out of the possible 100 based on the SCA (Specialty Coffee Association) scale are referred to as 'specialty'. The higher the score, the higher the quality, and the more extraordinary the flavour.
We roast this coffee in one of Europe's best-rated roasteries.
The washed processing method involves separating the bean from the pulp, fermenting the beans in water, then leaving them out to dry. This creates particularly "clean" flavours and well-defined notes, as well as tends to enhance fruitiness.
Authentic "Jamaica Blue Mountain" coffee is only grown in Jamaica, in the region around the Blue Mountains. Its supply is very limited, and the demand for it is high, with the flavours and aromas of this coffee adored by millions of coffee lovers. It's particularly popular in Japan, where huge quantities of it are imported. Because of these reasons, the price of this coffee is higher than that of others.
