The Honduran region of Marcala is famous for its gorgeous coffee plantations, where special attention is paid to the principles of sustainable agriculture. The humble coffee bean is a veritable queen over here, governing the daily lives of hundreds of local farmers. The latter have been brought together by a company called COMSA. It helps farmers adopt environmentally friendly agricultural practices, develop new technologies, and earn fair wages—all of this, in its turn, lets coffee connoisseurs all over the globe discover the one-of-a-kind flavours originating from Marcala.

Coffees that have scored over 80 points out of the possible 100 based on the SCA (Specialty Coffee Association) scale are referred to as 'specialty'. The higher the score, the higher the quality, and the more extraordinary the flavour.
We roast this coffee in one of Europe's best-rated roasteries.
The washed processing method involves separating the bean from the pulp, fermenting the beans in water, then leaving them out to dry. This creates particularly "clean" flavours and well-defined notes, as well as tends to enhance fruitiness.
This coffee is roasted in a way that makes it suited for all brewing methods, with each of them unveiling different flavours.
