Tropical notes of kiwifruit set the tone, joined soon by fragrant jasmine and the sweet aroma of honey echoing in the background…
Imagine yourself being transported to the coffee estate of El Deviso, located in the Colombian region of Huila: here, your eye would inevitably stumble upon the exotic Geisha—a charming newcomer, as fascinating as its legendary predecessors. One of her ancestors, first encountered in 1931 in an Ethiopian village called Gesha, journeyed all the way to America in search of happiness and recognition. Her dream was ultimately fulfilled by her gorgeous granddaughter: in 2005, she made experienced connoisseurs gasp with admiration during the Best of Panama coffee competition. Now the Colombian cousin of the Panamanian Geisha is eagerly awaiting your approval.

We've called it "Funky Beans" because of how exotic and truly unexpected the flavours of these specialty coffees are. The ever-changing, limited-edition range promises some wild adventures, and bursts with funky energy.
Coffees that have scored over 80 points out of the possible 100 based on the SCA (Specialty Coffee Association) scale are referred to as 'specialty'. The higher the score, the higher the quality, and the more extraordinary the flavour.
We roast this coffee in one of Europe's best-rated roasteries.
The washed processing method involves separating the bean from the pulp, fermenting the beans in water, then leaving them out to dry. This creates particularly "clean" flavours and well-defined notes, as well as tends to enhance fruitiness.
The Colombian Geisha varietal is known for its elegant, tea-like, flowery flavour profile. It's one of the most prestigious, award-winning bean varietals that are currently out there.
