– 30 g of ceremonial-grade Japanese matcha green tea (origin: Uji, Japan).

– 1 traditional ceramic matcha bowl.

HOW TO PREPARE?

Pour 1/4 of a teaspoon (2 g) of matcha powder into a matcha bowl. For the best texture, sift the powder through a strainer first to remove any lumps—this helps it blend more evenly. Wet the powder with 15 ml of water heated to around 70 °C, then mix thoroughly using a bamboo whisk until a smooth paste forms. Add another 70 ml of water, then mix again until consistent. That’s it: your soothing cup of matcha is ready to enjoy!

HOW TO MAINTAIN?

– Soak the whisk and scoop in cold water for around 2 minutes before first use.

– Rinse the whisk and scoop after each use, then carefully pat dry before storing. Do not leave wet so as to avoid damage.
