Grey skies and rainy days tired you out? This fresh, bright coffee is sure to make you feel like spring again! Greeting your palate with vivid notes of strawberry and apple soda, it soon morphs into something resembling a velvety, vanilla-y almond cream with a delightfully subtle hint of chocolate… Sounds positively dreamy—and it absolutely is!


This 100% specialty single-estate arabica has reached Two Chimps from Huatuscan coffee farms belonging to the Sampieri and Zilli families. Located in Veracruz, a region in eastern Mexico, the city of Huatusco has long been famous for its sprawling coffee estates. By the way, did you know that Veracruz is where the first Mexican coffee trees were planted? No wonder then that coffee plays such a central part in the everyday lives of thousands of Veracruzans!


As a limited-edition offering, “Autumn the Fourth” is, obviously, super special. This is primarily due to its unique processing method, which involves something called “starter culture”. A starter culture is a special preparation used to assist in the beginning of the fermentation process. Created specially for this coffee and added directly to the fermentation tank, this culture has extended the duration of the fermentation stage by as many as two to three times. Coupled with the washed processing method, this innovative technique ultimately produces a brew that’s surprisingly sweet and alluringly fruity.


This coffee is bound to turn out amazing regardless of your chosen brewing method, yet its light roast profile means it’s suited particularly well for filter brewers, Chemex coffee makers and French presses.
