I live in the US. I found Coffee Friend after doing a random search for loose leaf tea online. I ended up placing a large(r) order than I normally would for home coffee/tea making supplies- I figured it would take a while to receive the order, so I was trying to make the most out of the expected long shipping times and additional shipping fees. The sale section seemed a promising way to sample many different coffee varieties for my first order. Coffee Friend has a lot going on- coffee, tea, brewing gear, coffee machines, parts and gadgets. I was very much thinking “Wow…. So cool….” as I perused all the things over several days. CF also offers beverage serving pieces (cups, plates, saucers etc) that are WAY more interesting and lovely than anything I have seen or been served coffee in in the States. Shortly after submitting my order, Customer Service contacted me to be sure I understood shipping would take a bit longer and that I might have to pay customs or duty taxes (import fees) on my end. I was good with all of that. I ordered socks from a company in the US and Coffee Friend items the same day. An overseas shipment arrived to me FASTER than a shipment out of California did! The box was very sturdy and packed extremely well- plenty of extra padding and filler material inside for protection. I also did not incur any additional fees on my end for receipt of the international order. Yes!! Winning!! I was amazed! I have barely scratched the surface sampling all of the different coffees I recieved, however, it only took one order to make me a believer and I plan on being a regular customer going forward. Once the order was processed, it was very quick to be delivered; however, the order seem "stuck" for some time (12 days or so), with no information if anything was happening in the mean time (lack of information). However, the item arrived and is working as expected: I am very happy with it.
