Good service and very pleased with the coffee maker

It came with a European plug not a UK one, which I did not expect

I bought a Gaggia Cadorna bean to coffee machine. Like other reviewers I found that it had a conversion plug from a European cable, so it was not intended for sale in the UK. Additionally the box was not in great condition. A fault developed swiftly with the door next to the brew unit buckling due to the heat from the brew unit and vented steam. After 3 weeks, multiple emails and phone calls, videos that I sent to them and photos they have denied that there is an issue, blaming user misuse instead. They also completely misunderstand how the unit works and that there is heat generated by the unit at that specific location. I now want a refund but they are not responding at all. They offered to send a new door but this has not arrived (they cost £14.50). Today they are not answering the phone. Please buy from a reputable outlet.

Their system dropped part of my address, causing the first delivery to fail. I repeatedly phoned and emailed, asking for this to be corrected. Eventually, they agreed to send a replacement, claiming it would be dispatched that day—then the next day—always with excuses about a new warehouse or courier. A representative "guaranteed 100%" that it would be sent that day, yet three days later, it still hadn't been. Over a month after my original order, they finally shipped it, only to fail to update my address, leading to another failed delivery. Now, there's no communication regarding my refund for the expensive coffee grinder I never received. Meanwhile, I ordered from a competitor, and my item has already arrived. Incredibly poor service—avoid this company.

My order arrived within the delivery window, but at the latter end. I've ordered a couple of times from coffee friend, both times the goods have taken a while to come, but their prices are very good and everything arrived in perfect order.

The fitted coffee machine I purchased was faulty , it was very difficult to get it sorted . Coffeefriend needed me to prove that it was faulty by sending a video of the fault . After several emails I had enough I contacted the manufacturer directly very helpful sent out an engineer and was sorted out in no time . I contacted Coffeefriend that the manufacturer had sorted the problem without me having to prove it . To be fair they did give me a voucher to spend with them . The experience was stressful. I wasn’t asking for a refund just wanted a machine that worked .

Machine was faulty, a replacement was sent out which was also faulty. My instinct is that this company resells machines that have been returned, given the packaging and missing pieces when I received the item. I would not be tempted by their low prices and buy from a reliable seller elsewhere. On top of all that, their customer service is also extremely slow to respond.

Had a terrible experience with this company! The kettle I ordered was not brand new and it had an EU conversion plug. They want to charge to return the item that was not as described. Personally I won’t trade with them again.

Fantastic quality items

Very pleased with the Nespresso coffee machine and it was as advertised. Good value for money and good quality. The item was delivered as advised.

I ordered a Lelit Mara X at a very good price and it was delivered very quickly as advertised. I got another £20 or so off going via Quidco and a £50 voucher from Coffefriend. I used it to but cleaning kit and a new milk jug and they arrived quickly too.

There was no mention of the toaster having a European plug on the description. They did supply an adapter but it makes the plug huge. Also delivery was slow ( despite website saying it was in stock in the uk) and communication poor. No one answers the telephone and the toaster was only sent after a couple of chasing emails. I would be very cautious about buying from them again.
