I received the products but communications weren't good during the order & delivery process, but their seemingly relentless emails spamming me to review them gets the mark-down it deserves.

If I could give zero stars, I would. My girlfriend thought she was gifting me the joy of perfect espresso for Christmas—turns out, she gifted me four months of frustration, countless unanswered emails, and a very expensive flower vase. We ordered a La Pavoni Mini Cellini from CoffeeFriends.co.uk, and when it arrived, the water tank was already damaged. No big deal, right? Just a spare part away from caffeinated bliss. Wrong. So, so wrong. I contacted them immediately. They reassured me in early January that the replacement part would take 4-6 weeks. Guess what? It’s now mid-March, and I’m still waiting. I’ve been chasing them every single week, and their customer service is about as responsive as a broken espresso machine—which, ironically, is exactly what they sold me. Out of desperation, I reached out to the manufacturer in Italy. Their response? “Oh yeah, we think they ordered the part… but they never picked it up.” At this point, I had two options: 1. Continue waiting indefinitely while sipping imaginary espresso. 2. Cut my losses, buy a working machine from a different website, and salvage what’s left of my sanity. I chose option 2, and let me tell you—it feels great to finally drink coffee again. As for the La Pavoni Mini Cellini? It’s currently serving its only functional purpose: holding a flower vase. That’s right. A £1,000+ machine, reduced to glorified home decor. So, unless you’re looking for a very expensive and very useless piece of Italian metal to display in your home, do yourself a favor: avoid CoffeeFriends.co.uk at all costs. The customer service is abysmal, the communication is non-existent, and the experience is a one-way ticket to caffeine withdrawal and pure rage. Final verdict? CoffeeFriends.co.uk is neither coffee nor friends. Stay away. 🚨☕❌

The coffee machine, a relatively expensive one, broke down. It took some time to arrange a pick up and for more than a month now I have not heard anything back from the company. Still without a coffee machine and any update

Order No #002863544 I Ordered a new coffee machine from these .the price was good and delivery was ok but when i opened the box it had a EUROPEAN PLUG on it which to my understanding is not supposed to be sold in the UK. ive emailed them several times ,called them and left voice messages but no reply. they didn't even supply a converter adapter . ill now take this up with trading standards to seek a refund

Bought a nespresso citiz with aeroccino. No mention it was a eu machine on their page and their website indicates they are uk based? Arrived in a bulging box where they’ve crammed in a plug adaptor/transformer? Personally I thought these sales tactics were something better off left in the 90’s dodgy foreign holiday resort electrical shops. Their returns form is well hidden on their website (bottom question on returns section) with no acknowledgement after submitting (I took screenshots). They ask for 2 photos but their computer will not accept a second photo, I tried with numerous different ones. I’ve tried telephoning them and was greeted with a repeating computer generated statement, it sounds as if your being connected but the computer just states the same information and I’ve also emailed them a request stating I wish to return under my rights of distance selling within 14 days of receiving the machine, I actually received it today. I have now wrote a letter to the address on their website where they state they do not received returns, Coffee Friend, c/o Amicum Team Ltd, 166 College Road, Harrow HA1 1TB via recorded delivery. Next step will be a section 75 via my credit card if I do not get a satisfactory response. Going by what others have said about suspected returned stock that they are reselling and faulty appliances I will not risk my families safety having this electrical appliance in my home. Honestly can not trust the contents of the box as unsealed. Be honest about what you are offering! It’s just not worth it to save £10 which is probably why they don’t declare it as it would affect sales. They also charge you circa £10 to return!
