Good service

Do not buy from this company as it is a con. Bought a senseo coffee machine to replace an old model. Supposed to have Crema plus which means a frothier top. The coffee is rubbish with no head whatsoever. When I contacted Coffeefriend and complained they asked me to send a video comparing my old and new machine. You could obviously see the lack of froth on top but when I asked for a refund they said I couldn’t have one as I’d used the machine, of which they had asked me to do. They then told me to get an engineer even thought they maintain the item isn’t faulty. I am contacting trading standards tomorrow about this awful company. Do not be tempted to purchase anything from them ever.

This machine took forever to arrive and thus missed my key (gift) date, but the unit itself is excellent and Coffeefriend redeemed themselves by sending me a small refund and an apology.. well done.! 'The selling starts when the customer says no..'

Yes all terrific once experience was gained I purchase a Sage Barista at the best price found on the web and given xmas typical business issues with staff and delivery services, it arrived within a couple of weeks. Very satisfactory. I also bought some beans which we’re on offer, 36° parallel. As a novice this was not the best bean to start with. Very bitter and no good for shots but great as a latte or cappuccino. I have spent many hours frustrating myself but the best thing is to try say three different coffees to get a feel for the machine and coffee. I bought a espresso bean for shots. Before that I could not figure out what I was doing wrong or if the machine was faulty and used nearly a kg of this bitter coffee. Do pay attention to grams of coffee per cup, does not have to be 18, time to extract which is effected by the grind you chose for the bean. I am not precise at the moment and coffees are great, even the bitter one. If you can buy an auto machine and just press the button to make a finished white coffee you will get this one working for you. It does make excellent coffee but you have to know a little. I am a very pleased customer.

This machine was purchased as a present but the person already had one so I asked COFFEE FRIEND if I could return the machine . I can only say that the response was kind considerate and helpful . I can’t rate coffeefriend highly enough…. After my earlier post (4* rating) my Christmas Day email reporting a missing part was answered. A prompt, polite and helpful response which resulted in me locating the missing attachment , I’d overlooked it located in the base of the gadget-perfect!!!

Coffee only. Very good offer and Items arrived as expected, no issues. Coffee is producing consistent shots and appears to have a good shelf life. A roasted on date would be useful.

Good products, good offers, correct lead times. However no delivery follow up, we found the parcel left in front of our house with no previous notice and no delivery confirmation. Luckely we live in a safe area.
