Horrible horrible horrible that’s the only way to describe we ordered one item but they send a wrong one we called them for refund but they send a email stating to take photos of packaging while ur packing for refund and then sign a form and then send back to them which will cost u 9.99 for inspection and return and firstly the parcel was delivered after thier slot delivery time so if ull order a item and if u want a refund its a nightmare basically they just don’t want u to return the item no after service whatsoever so please avoid this company

I bought a coffee machine from CoffeeFriends and the machine has European plugs. I wanted to return it but the return fee is £10. The machine is £35 😅 I’m sorry regret that I try to support small business. I wish I could buy from Amazon.

Coffee grinder stopped working due to a confirmed mechanical fault after 6 months of use. After receiving very specific packing instructions and needing to drop the machine off myself, they agreed to fix the machine – neither refund nor replacement offered. The machine has been with them for 8 weeks. My last update was 4 weeks ago when they said it would be three more weeks for parts. Not been updated, no coffee grinder returned. I do not have the goods that I paid for and it’s not good enough!

Ordered Stanley cup 3rd Dec, intended to be gift I would take to family gathering when I leave on 21st Dec. Tracking number for RM tracked 48h generated saying expecting parcel, when I ordered, which has not updated at all. Then radio silence. Until I called today, 19th December and was promptly told there was delay with their courier and the package would be scanned and start tracking today. I’m not holding my breath, this is clearly a lie. No updates were sent out to any customers, as you might expect if any of this were remotely true. Reading the other Trust pilot reviews – which I wish I had before purchase – they appear to be the unluckiest business in the world, facing constant courier delays, robberies and hijackings of their vehicles, (because coffee accessories are clearly a major target market for organised crime gangs), customs delays, and delays which are out of their hands. I agree with other customers who say your order is just a payday loan for this outfit. Unless you enjoy wasting your energy and not receiving orders on time, or at all, save your time, sanity and money and simply avoid them.

Kettle arrived with a 2 pin plug and a 3 pin adaptor plug, not what you expect when you order from a uk website. I would not have ordered if this had been made clear in the description. Would not recommend.

Not having used Coffee Friend before I actually ordered without researching them beforehand. I’d seen them advertised on another app so wasn’t too concerned. They had an appliance in stock I was looking for with very limited vendors (not a coffee machine – nothing to do with coffee in fact?) so ordered. Ordered early Saturday afternoon, got confirmation of the order immediately, expected to hear something end of the 1st working day (Monday) like a dispatch email however never did. Half way through 2nd working day (Tuesday) thought I’d check reviews of Coffee Friend as hadn’t heard anything since ordering. The reviews were a bit worrying concerning appliances – people not getting them, tracking problems, no communication/updates, stock not being U.K. supplied, stock used/opened, no packaging. So expecting the same I emailed them asking when dispatch would be. I got a reply fairly quick, however it didn’t give me any new information, only that the item ‘would be received within the “promised” time’ (whatever that was) and yet if I didn’t receive it within the timeframe I was to contact them (which seemed contradictory to the previous statement to me). I asked again what the timeframe was (I.E. when dispatch would be) only to be told by another representative it would be sent shortly and it should be with me in 1-3 working days (again, no new info as I knew shipping would take 1-3 working days as advertised, I was purely concerned with dispatch so I could work out rough delivery day). I wasn’t too concerned with getting it before Christmas, but equally didn’t want it sitting somewhere a couple of days waiting to be delivered over the holidays either. Overall I was a bit sceptical, especially as what I purchased had nothing to do with coffee, but happy to let it play out. Surprisingly I got a dispatch email late that night (Tuesday) at about 10pm – so they were working late. Royal Mail notified me of a parcel the same night and it was even delivered the 3rd working day (Wednesday) – so I received the item (which is the main thing) and quicker than I expected/needed. So to summarise I got my item but certain truths are not made clear (which other reviewers have also highlighted) which Coffee Friend might want to address to improve: Con’s – it took about 3.5 days (and possibly an email nudge) to get an automated dispatch email (possibly due time of year/volume of orders) after placing an order. – the item was received in purely manufacturers packaging which sustained some damage (this isn’t designed to withstand the parcel network, it’s designed for being bulk transported in an overpack and sitting on a display shelf. The package contents is visible, not protected from weather/knocks and this wasn’t highlighted at point of ordering – you apparently have to request [unknowingly unless you’ve read off here] packaging…which isn’t the norm. It’s more of a cost saving measure than being eco which potentially could turn into a costly measure in some circumstances). – the package had been opened and resealed (something I wasn’t expecting but read about off here. This was, as best I can assume, to place, loosely but wrapped, an adapter plug in the box, the appliance as best I can tell was new/unused). – the appliance isn’t a U.K. appliance but an EU appliance (I’d read other customers saying they were waiting for their items and being told it was coming from EU so this shoe fits…I wasn’t told the item I was buying was an EU appliance though, the vendors are limited after all but still transparency helps and in terms of planning – some appliances have right-angled plugs and a bulky adapter changes the orientation of the wire. Also there could be potential warranty/spare parts issues of buying an EU appliance). Pro’s – I received my item faster than expected. – I think based on the timeframe received they had the item in the U.K. at the time of ordering. – it was a new working appliance
