initially – so so bad in terms of customer comms and delivery, to such an extent i bought from elsewhere and cancelled my purchase. after sales, top drawer and couldnt fault it. if you done the first part as well, i wouldnt have returned my item……………something to learn from maybe!

Needed a replacement for a workout viva café machine, found this and as the viva café is no longer sold in uk this seemed a good alternative. Really good machine in striking grey colour. Delivery was quick so all good. It came with a European plug but fortunately I had an adaptor, it would have been good to have this mentioned in the description, but it wasn’t a problem to me. Thanks Coffee Friend for good service.

I purchased a Rocket Espresso machine which was almost £1600. The item was priced about £100 cheaper than the other websites which came up on my search engine and the item was showing as in a genuine sale so I went ahead and ordered. The website looks like the company is based in the north on England. They are in fact based on Lithuania. The item would have been delivered with an EU plug rather than a UK plug. I sent a couple of emails and was advised that changing the plug to a UK plug would void the manufacturers warranty. I tried to call and speak to a person and found this very difficult and the call was sent to voicemail a number of times. After a good hour of trying to get through I did manage to get through to a helpful chap would arranged the cancellation of the order. I placed the order via Klarna, not sure how this would have panned out if I had paid via debit card? I received the refund within about 1 week. My issue is that it should be made more clear that this is not a UK spec item, no pop up when ordering etc just in the fine print in the product spec tab. It should make it clear on the site that the company and the items purchased would have been an import, not sure if I would have been hit with import duty on top of the cost of the order or not? However the guy who arranged the cancellation was helpful and did everything he said he would.
