ordered coffee machine because it was labeled express delivery (for a birthday) when we didn't hear anything we got in touch and were told that it wasn't an item for express delivery. 3 days after we ordered it it no longer said express delivery. No apology or anything, and no present for sons birthday.

Overall a disappointing purchase. Although this looks like the Magimix Nesspreso machine I've had before everything about it appears to be Chinese knock-off (certainly NOT made in the EU as described – Made in China is written in small font). Well I've other items made in China so thought it would be worth keeping, however, when used it's noisy and vibrates so much my cup fell off the platform! Too late to return now apparently as I've 'opened it' (response from their support). I'll not be shopping here again!

terrible – machine arrived broken and it took 3 weeks for you to pick it up! I'm still waiting for a refund or replacement! Have sent multiple emails and called you 3 times! How you are still in business is a mystery!

Products are good and arrived well packaged. However one item I ordered they didn't actually have in stock. Took a week for them to contact me and tell me this. (All this time I'm just sat wondering why my order isn't shipped yet) Then another week after this for my order to actually be shipped out. All in all took a good bit over 2 weeks to receive my order. Had I known this I would have ordered from Amazon, but I wanted to support another business. I had a bag of pre ground coffee added to my order as a sorry gift but realistically I have no use for it. As stated products I received arrived safely and are quality. Not sure if the rest was coffeefriend having an off few weeks or it is the usual timescale.

Perfect service. Daniels great. Opened a new machine but there were a few things that made it seem like it was used. But they managed it so well. It wasn’t coffee friends fault but Daniel went above and beyond to sort things. I’ll be a customer for life.

Very happy with our new DeLonghi Magnifica S Smart (quite a name!), bought at a very good price and including a kg of very drinkable coffee beans to get us started. The length of time from paying to despatch of our machine was substantial, but as the rather curt email I received on asking for an update said, the delivery would be made ‘within the quoted time scales’. The quoted timescales being 15 working days, which got us all the way from late December to the last week in January – and the machine didn’t come a day earlier than ‘timescaled’ either! For the price and the quality and the free beans and the excellent euro-to-uk converter, I will still award 5 stars overall.
