Ordered a Nespresso Citrix coffee machine from Coffee Friend mainly base on the fact that it was marginally cheaper than elsewhere. It arrived okay but was fitted with a French plug plus an adaptor (that was intricate to fit) that was completely not fit for purpose such that you could not plug it into a socket on a wall. Annoyingly had to source another adaptor. They should make customers aware this product does not have a UK plug.

Slight problem with the courier dispatch which was resolved immediately by coffee friend; great Comms in keeping me informed. Rarely experience customer service as good as this. Will definitely be ordering again, this time to try the coffee! Definitely stay "friends"

I'd give zero stars if I could. Coffee Friends delivery schedule ranges from a couple of days to well into a third week from order date. I have come across no other coffee bean company that delivers so erratically. It also gives you no notice of delays. I've placed 7 orders since September 2023 and three have been delayed in delivery. Just not good enough! I recommend if you want timely delivery of coffee beans, then look elsewhere, not Coffee Friend. Also, online chat takes more than 20 minutes (they say under 20) to connect and telephone calls go to a out of UK call centre.

I placed an order on 11th June & received an email on 20th July to say they’ve cancelled my order due to a supply issue. I had no contact at all during this time apart from when I phoned them & they assured me I would get the order but a few weeks late. They said they would send an email to confirm this & that I would get a free gift due to the inconvenience – I never received an email! I still have not been refunded & they’ve had my money since the beginning of June. Very poor service, I will not use this company again.
