Very very good customer service

Really like the look of the product. It works well. I had an issue with the first delivery as it arrived smashed because there was no protective packaging but a new one was sent very quickly which arrived in one piece. Responsive customer service s as nd would buy again from them.

I have received my order, however it arrived approx a week after expected. This was more of a concern than it might have been, had I known. There was no communication after the order acknowledgement email. So I had to call coffee friend to find out the revised delivery date. Part of the order, a coffee grinder arrived with a euro plug, and a uk adaptor in the parcel. I'm not too impressed with the quality, but it is working without issue. Not sure I will use this company again.

The nespresso eszensa mini is an effective minimalistic coffee maker both in size and appearance. I gave 3 stars because of the number of emails I had to write to clarify that I had ordered only one coffee machine and not two. The invoice sent to me at double the price did not in any way indicate the charge was for 2 as I had only ordered one. So for the stress of emails exchanged to ensure the correct machine, correct number and correct price was charged I rate this company 2 stars . One for coffee machine arrived and two for it actually working .

My review is purely about my order experience as the parcel is an Xmas gift and so yet to be opened. I placed my order over the Black Friday period and appreciate that there would have been order volumes, but I didn’t receive much in the way of an update regarding my order and after 3 weeks I was the one chasing. The parcel was dispatched 1 week after it was promised to me, which leaves me feeling very disappointed from a customer service perspective.

Good service and excellent coffee

I ordered a Krups coffee pod machine on 27th November and was immediately sent an email from them,saying that my order was being processed for despatch 'right away '…. Wrong…. I had to call the company four times to chase my order, and was always advised that there was no stock to despatch …. It was en route from their supplier. Why wasn't I informed this at the start? I finally received my order on 13th December, it was poorly wrapped – no outer box, just shreds of bubble wrap! When unboxed, it transpired that the machine was obviously manufactured for the European market…. No UK 3 pin plug …. Just a two pin plug, to snap-fit inside a very large and ugly plug adaptor! Would I use Coffee Friend again…. NO.
