Bright notes of citrus fruit unfold in your cup, cloaked by sweet hints of dark chocolate and maple syrup…
Down below the majestic peaks of the Peruvian Andes, in the region of Lambayeque, women toil away in extensive coffee plantations—women every bit as magnificent as the mountains that surround them. In addition to their genuine passion for coffee, what unites these farmers is the acclaimed “CafĂ© Femenino” program. Started in 2004, this unique initiative brings women coffee farmers together, and enables them to take control of both their produce and their earnings (which is a huge achievement in an industry dominated by men!). Nowadays, thousands of women from 9 different countries are part of this foundation. The additional funds collected have already allowed the women to implement a variety of local projects related to education, health promotion, equal opportunities, and human rights. Feel like joining in? Give this gorgeous coffee a try!

We've called it "Funky Beans" because of how exotic and truly unexpected the flavours of these specialty coffees are. The ever-changing, limited-edition range promises some wild adventures, and bursts with funky energy.
Coffees that have scored over 80 points out of the possible 100 based on the SCA (Specialty Coffee Association) scale are referred to as 'specialty'. The higher the score, the higher the quality, and the more extraordinary the flavour.
We roast this coffee in one of Europe's best-rated roasteries.
The washed processing method involves separating the bean from the pulp, fermenting the beans in water, then leaving them out to dry. This creates particularly "clean" flavours and well-defined notes, as well as tends to enhance fruitiness.
Yes, this coffee is roasted in a way that makes it suited perfectly for all filter brewing methods.
