Hot and delicious winter drinks

Time spent at home can be incredibly cosy and filled with the most beautiful of moments. Take advantage of Coffee Friend's recipes, try some of the most delicious hot winter drinks and enjoy the warmth they give you!

Klasikinis karštas šokoladas

Classic hot chocolate

For the recipe, you'll need:

  • Hot chocolate "Zuma"
  • Hot water
  • Steamed milk
  • A large 300-ml cup

Pour one scoop (28 g) of "Zuma" hot chocolate into a 300-ml "Loveramics" ceramic cup. Add a splash of hot water and mix into a smooth paste, then top with steamed milk, stirring as you pour. To make the drink sweeter, top it with some whipped cream, cocoa powder or mini marshmallows. If you're feeling particularly bold, flavour the drink with a splash of Sweetbird "Chilli" syrup too: this combination is bound to pleasantly surprise you!

 

Chalo chai latte

Chalo chai latte

For the recipe, you'll need:

  • 2 tablespoons of "Chalo" chai powder
  • 200 ml of hot water
  • 100 ml of hot milk
  • Vanilla syrup
  • Cinnamon

Pour 2 tablespoons of your chosen "Chalo" chai latte powder into your favourite cup. Add 200 ml of hot water and 100 ml of heated milk of your choice. Flavour with some vanilla syrup and sprinkle with cinnamon!

Hazelnut latte

For the recipe, you'll need:

  • 30 ml of espresso
  • Hot milk
  • Syrup Sweetbird "Hazelnut"
  • Syrup Sweetbird "Cinnamon"
  • Chocolate powder

    Brew a serving of espresso. If you fancy a more intense flavour, make it double. Add both syrups to the drink and mix everything together. Pour heated milk in and sprinkle some chocolate powder on top.

Gingerbread latte

For the recipe, you'll need:

  • 50 ml of espresso
  • 125 ml of milk
  • 1 or 2 teaspoons of Sweetbird "Gingerbread" syrup
  • A pinch of cinnamon

Mix coffee with syrup, add a pinch of cinnamon and heat the mixture over low heat. Then pour it into a cup and add warm milk. If you prefer your drinks extra sweet, top with whipped cream, mini marshmallows or some more ground cinnamon!

Cinnamon cocoa

For the recipe, you'll need:

  • 1 cup of milk
  • 2 teaspoons of "Becks" cocoa
  • 1 tablespoon of milk chocolate shavings
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/3 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • A pinch of nutmeg

Pour milk into a small pot and heat it over medium heat. Put the remaining ingredients in a cup: cocoa, chocolate shavings, cinnamon and salt. Then pour the heated milk into a cup and mix well. Season the drink with more chocolate shavings or a pinch of nutmeg!

Christmas iced tea

For the recipe, you'll need:

  • Vanilla-flavoured tea "Stick Tea"
  • 50 ml of orange juice
  • 50 ml of pomegranate juice
  • 1 large orange
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • Extra orange slices and cinnamon sticks (optional)

In a small pot, mix tea with orange and pomegranate juice. Add orange slices and cinnamon sticks to the mixture. When the mixture comes to a boil, remove from heat and let it cool for about 15 minutes. Then strain the mixture and remove cinnamon sticks and orange slices from it. Pour the drink into a jar and let it cool for at least a few hours. Serve it with some ice cubes and add an orange slice or a cinnamon stick as a garnish!

Hot spiced tea

For the recipe, you'll need:

  • Your favourite tea
  • 1 apple
  • 1 orange
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • Optional toppings: cloves, a pinch of nutmeg, some star anise

Any tea will work great for this recipe, so feel free to choose the desired flavour. First, brew your favourite tea and let it cool for a bit. In the meantime, prepare other ingredients: apple and orange slices, cinnamon sticks and your preferred toppings. Pour everything into a pot and heat the mixture over low heat for about 20 minutes while stirring from time to time. If you like your drinks sweeter, add a little honey. Then pour the drink into a cup and garnish it with an apple or orange slice.
