WHAT DOES “WDT” MEAN? 

WDT, or Weiss Distribution Technique, is a ground coffee distribution method devised by John Weiss in 2005, and designed to help coffee lovers achieve the optimal extraction. It relies on a special needle distributor (also known as a WDT tool), which is used to gently stir the ground coffee inside the portafilter.

By preventing clumps from forming, this WDT tool ensures even ground coffee distribution, and helps extract flavours to perfection. 

WITH A WOODEN HANDLE AND STAND

HOW TO USE A WDT TOOL? 

Using circular motions, gently stir the coffee in the portafilter, starting from the bottom and moving upwards slowly. For the best results, follow this up with a ground coffee distributor, and only tamp your coffee afterwards.
