Details

Colomba pasquale (or ‘Easter dove’ in English) is a traditional cake enjoyed by the Italians during Easter. Similar to the Italian panettone, the dough for this cake is made with flour, eggs, sugar, natural yeast, and butter. It’s then fashioned into a dove-like shape to represent peace and hope, and is usually topped with pearl sugar and almonds before baking.

Unlike most colombas, “”Colomba Regale Senza Canditi”” contains no candied fruit. Delight in the softness of naturally leavened dough, and enjoy delicate flavours crafted for the most refined of palates.
