Recipes for a refreshing weekend

Let’s open the season of terraces and warm picnics outside in the sun, Friends — summer’s almost here! There’s nothing more refreshing on a sunny, hot weekend than sipping on delicious ice-cold coffee. That’s why we’re presenting you with some recommendations of our favourite coffee drinks (and more) that are bound to make your day a little bit more special… and extra delicious!

Simple, yet amazingly refreshing espresso

For those of you who can’t imagine their day without a shot of glorious espresso, this drink will definitely come in handy. Simple, strong and with a pinch of summery flavour that is guaranteed to brighten your day.

Ingredients:
– A shot of espresso (30 ml). We recommend using “Parallel 36” coffee beans
– A couple of ice-cubes
– A slice of lime

Pop a few ice cubes into a glass, pour a shot of espresso on them (or use Viaggio Espresso cold brew coffee) and top it all off with a slice of lime. Couldn’t be easier, right?

Freshness of the night

We’re not joking when we say that this drink is synonymous with sleepless nights. This extra strong, yet refreshing, combination made up of the world’s most popular drinks will surely be a pleasant surprise.

Ingredients:
– A shot of espresso (30 ml). We recommend using “Parallel 12” coffee beans
– 200 ml Coca-Cola
– A couple of ice-cubes
– 2 pumps of vanilla syrup
– A slice of lime and a twig of fresh thyme to spice up the taste

Use a ceramic Hario coffee grinder to grind the coffee beans. Pour Coca-Cola into a glass with ice cubes, then add a shot of espresso and some vanilla syrup. Top the drink with a slice of lime and a twig of fresh thyme.

Fusion of red accents

Ice-cold coffee complemented by bright flavours of citrus and berries — sounds like a wonderful way to start off your morning and breathe in the smell of a great day ahead, doesn’t it?

Ingredients:
– Desired amount of black coffee. We recommend the “Bialetti” coffee line
– 150 ml Russchian Schweppes
– A couple of ice-cubes
– 2 pumps of peach syrup
– A slice of grapefruit and a few fresh raspberries

Pour some “Schweppes Russchian” into a glass with ice cubes, then add coffee and peach syrup. Top the drink with a slice of grapefruit and a couple of fresh raspberries. Is your mouth watering already?

A piece of exotic Greece

There’s no need to travel anywhere because this perfect drink will make you feel like you’ve been transported straight to Greece! Sweet, light and definitely refreshing — no wonder it’s one of the most popular iced coffee drinks.

Ingredients:
– A shot of espresso (30 ml). We recommend “Caprissimo Professional” coffee beans
– 1 teaspoon of frappé mix of your desired flavour
– A couple of ice-cubes
– 200 ml milk
– Whipped cream to top up the drink
– A piece of chocolate

Mix milk, a shot of espresso, frappé mix and ice cubes in a blender. Pour the drink into a glass, then top it with whipped cream and a piece of glorious, Belgian-quality “Galler” chocolate.

Spicy and mysterious

When everything’s tried out and you’re looking for something new, interesting and mysterious, we recommend a refreshing and sweet solution — iced chai cocktail!

Ingredients:
– A tablespoon of chai tea mix. We recommend using Chalo “Masala Indian Chai”
– 200 ml milk
– A couple of ice-cubes
– A shot of espresso (30 ml). We recommend “Caprissimo Fragrante” coffee beans

Mix milk, a shot of espresso, chai tea mix and ice cubes in a blender, then pour the drink into a glass. Simple, easy and extremely delicious!

If you’re more of a tea person though, this recipe is the one for you!

Fresh dream

This refreshing, extraordinarily tasty cold tea is perfect not only when you’re looking for something to enjoy at home, but also when you want to have something to sip on while taking a walk!

Ingredients:
– A cup of tea. We recommend “Gunpowder Green Tea” Stick tea
– 2 pumps of your desired syrup
– A couple of ice-cubes
– Lemon and grapefruit slices to taste

– “Asobu” bottle or cup

Prepare the tea and leave it to cool down for a bit. Pop a couple of ice cubes into a cup or bottle, then add the syrup, cool tea, as well as grapefruit and lemon slices.
